The presentation of this work is a combination of drawings, writings, and photography wrapped into a book. The current work seeks to explore the connection between my own human experience, both body and soul, and the natural femininity that permeates everyday life. Drawing from a variety of experiences, I want to emphasize visual continuity between the female form and the natural world, leaning into certain underlying themes found in each. It is my hope that, in visualizing patterns and similarities in the unexpected moments, it would compel the viewer to take more time to take notice of gender bias found in today's world.
