The whole word has been affected by the arrival and lingering presence of COVID 19 in our very midst. We are adapting, changing and living a new way of life which is being shaped by its very presence. We must not give in or give up, so a light hearted poem describing a rather different experience whilst visiting the shops during COVID 19 times, shows how it has become a rather intense and structured experience. I share of my art work integrated into the poem to allow the reader the opportunity to think deeper about our daily experiences and how much COVID19 has impacted our lives
