The author was captivated by Iceland's rugged beauty by an initial visit in 2013. Further visits were undertaken to explore more thoroughly what the island had to offer. The resulting 80 page book of beautiful black and white photographs illustrates the variety found on Iceland, from the magnificent landscapes to the charismatic Icelandic horses.

Photography was taken up as a second career after a redundancy in 1999. Initially working as a social photographer and darkroom printer, he also maintained an interest in landscape and theatre photography. He still prints in his own black & white darkroom, although most of his photography these days is with digital equipment.
