El pico de la pandemia del COVID19 coincidió en España con el final del invierno e inicio de la primavera. Una vez superada la fase de confinamiento absoluto, fue posible salir a pasear durante unas franjas horarias determinadas.
Dado que las posibilidades de movilidad eran limitadas, pensé en iniciar un proyecto fotográfico con un hilo conductor claro.
Puesto que iba a fotografiar flores, decidí usar mi lente 100mm macro con prioridad a la apertura de diafragma 2.8, dejando que la cámara estableciera la velocidad i la ISO más adecuada.
El leitmotiv fue aprovechar la escasa profundidad de campo para centrar la vista del espectador en un punto determinado. En ocasiones, dado el pequeño tamaño de la flor, ese punto era toda ella, desenfocando al máximo su entorno.

The hardest time of the COVID19 pandemic coincided, in Spain, with the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Once the phase of absolute lockdown was over, it was possible to go for a walk during some time slots.
Since the possibilities of mobility were limited, I thought about starting a photographic project with a clear thread.
Since I was going to shoot flowers, I decided to use my 100mm macro lens with the aperture priority set to 2.8, leaving the camera to set the most appropriate speed and ISO.
To take advantage of the shallow depth of field to focus the viewer's view on a certain point was the leitmotif of this project. Sometimes, given the small size of the flower, that focus point was the whole flower, blurring its surroundings as much as possible.
