The Tale of a Springer Spaniel originates from my unruly springer who enjoys chasing pheasants and running onto neighbouring ground to my garden which he shouldn't be trespassing on. The book is about his life's adventures at one stage he ends up in a caravan overnight where Mrs Pumphrey his owner has to retrieve him from. An owl visits him in his kennel and tells him he is disobedient and has to go to a new home. Mrs Pumphrey then has to rehome him and he goes to live near forestry tracks where there aren't many pheasants for him to chase. This beautifully illustrated book brings the story to life on every page.
