David Lardizabal, MD, MBA, FAAN., is an experienced academic and clinical neurologist. He was trained in Adult General Neurology in Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, and Philippine General Hospital. He was also trained in Internal Medicine at Cebu Velez General Hospital, Philippines. He developed a passion for teaching clinical neurology with medical students during his residency training years and throughout his neurology career. He held academic positions at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Cleveland Clinic Lerner of Medicine, and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He has won awards in teaching and education innovation. He also advocates promoting value-based health care and improving public health policy.
