About the Author: Born in Las Vegas Nevada, Donte has been performing on stage since the ripe old age of 14 1/2. He was on the undercard of the grand opening of Budd Friedman’s, Improv Comedy Club with headliner, Tim Thomerson(1978).His next door neighbors consisted of Jimmy "JJ" Walker (Good times TV Show), Bob Denver (Gilligan from Gilligan’s Island) Redd Foxx (Sanford & Sons TV Show) plus received stage performing advice from Bill Cosby while jogging around the UNLV sports track. His earliest comedy mentor was Sandy Hackett (son of comedian Buddy Hackett) who ran a comedy night inside the Sahara Hotel & Casino. Moved to LA & while performing at CAT (Comedy Act Theatre) received stand up advice and pointers from Damon Wayans, Robert Townsend, Robin Harris and D.L. Hughley, at the Comedy Act Theatre. Currently runs BonkerZ Comedy Clubs & Aus Stand up School in Australia. Where he produces award winning comedy shows including being selected for MasterCard's Priceless Campaign.
