Luman Frisbie served in the colonial military's Continental Army in Connecticut during the Revolutionary War, and moved to New York after the war, probably on his way to Ashtabula, Ohio. Sadly, he never made it there, but his family did, and this is their story.

Luman’s parents-in-law, Eldad Parker and Thankful Bellamy Parker, and his son’s father-in-law, Consider Warner, are also proven Revolutionary War Patriots, and as family members, are included in this book.
