Über das Buch
This is the true story of two women's journey across America on the Trans-America Trail.
The TAT was developed by a Mississippi guy over the span of 10 years. It consists of dirt roads, cattle trails, forest roads, gravel roads, single track, etc. It is almost all off-road with a few touches of pavement here and there. The trail runs from eastern Tennessee all the way to the Pacific Coast of Oregon.
During the summer of 2009, Stef and Jessica rode their Kawasaki KLX 250Ss across the United States on the Trans-America Trail. The trip was 5,695 miles and took 26 days to complete. They started at the Atlantic Ocean in Norfolk, VA and rode all the way to the Pacific Ocean in Port Orford, OR. This book is the story of that trip as told each night by Stef on her blog. Complete with pictures, user comments, and maps of their progress. Enjoy the ride!
