CV BORN: 1976 in Leoben, Austria Education: 2001 - 2005 Multi Media Art, FH Salzburg Degree: Magister (FH) for artistic and creative professions Current: Lives and works in Salzburg Inspired by the collages of Kurt Schwitters, the paintings of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the overpaintings of Arnulf Rainer, the urban art of Banksy and Dan Witz, the Nouveau réalisme and the small subset of Affichistes: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains... I‘m currently working on a series of digital décollage and digital overpaintings titled „covert and discovered history“. Here I merge digitalized, famous single works of art history with my own photographs of anonymous, collective decollage, tags and urban, fragmented snapshots. My aim is to marry those two antithetical approaches to art in my work and so create something utterly new. In the melting pot of bits and bytes I liquefy the contrasting codes and add them together to a new whole.
