Über das Buch
As I have wandered around downtown, I have found myself looking up in awe and wonder at the architectural behemoths that tower over Chicago. All of them, old and new, have risen from the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire in 1871.
Chicago is a city with many faces. It is a feast for the eyes. That’s why I resort to taking pictures.
By flipping, reversing, and arranging them, those pictures have disappeared and dissolved into elaborate displays of color, patterning, and symmetry -- not unlike what one might see looking into a kaleidoscope.
In the following pages, you will get to see Chicago in a different way -- one that has been reimagined.

Über den Autor
Jonathan Franklin

As an artist for over forty odd years, my biggest gig so far has been as the official White House Portraitist. During the past two years, I have had the privilege of painting our DearLeader over a couple dozen times looking his authoritarian best in all kinds of remarkable settings. And now, after much anticipation, I have finally assembled those paintings into a 48 page full-color book that includes personal commentaries, as well. It has been truly an inspiration to be so close and present with the man with the golden touch, who in every sense of the phrase, is Making America Great Again.
