The Book of COLOUR introduces eight friendly coloured balloons who go flying together. They fly through the pages of the book, encountering different scenarios; escaping from fire, orbiting the sun, travelling to far flung climes until they eventually arrive back to sit on the local farmyard fence. Eight luscious double page-spreads provide an optical journey from vibrant red through scrumptious orange, sunny yellow, gorgeous green, synthetic cyan, tranquil blue, all the way through to red again. Individual balloons get lost as their distinctive colour becomes camouflaged in the colour specific landscapes. The trick is to find them.
