Über das Buch
My father was a successful professional photographer who’s impressive skills and innovations in that field humbled me all throughout my life. His passing away in 2021 somehow triggered something deep inside - a growing urge to continue his journey. Carry on the torch if you will. So I picked up my camera and went out to shoot photos. Many photos.
By the end of 2022 I found myself with a sizeable collection of photographs in my hands. The results of a feverish year that almost cost me everything to be honest. This first volume of photos that I’ve taken on the way is preserved in this book and I must admit I deeply wish I could have shared these with my father. Why? To impress him? Make him proud? I am not sure. But here they are now, for you to enjoy!

Über den Autor
From Analog To Digital And Back Having grown up with internationally active large format film photographer Roberto Petrin, I have learned to see the world around us with open eyes. Always looking for a hidden beauty in the fleeting moment, things we tend to overlook or miss and framing these with love - that's what I'm here to do. Thanks to my father I was trained and mentored in photography throughout my entire upbringing. I understood how to use light, experimented with different film formats, assisted in his professional photoshoots and learned how to use the whole spectrum of this art. And in all this it was natural light photography wich became my specialty and passion. To top it off, my red/green color blindness became a unique feature of my photography: It forced me to arrange my pictures in a unique way which is how I created my own personal world of light and color.
