This is not intended to be a bird identification guide. It's a collection of 78 pages of 132 of my favorite images of 60 different species of birds in their environments, doing their thing. I do include locations where you can find them.
Bird names are in English and Portuguese.

I am originally from NYC. where i learned photography from my father in our basement darkroom doing B&W. My photographic interests turned to color photography with subjects including NYC graffiti, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, urban cityscapes, and the changing seasons. Travel led me to photograph many islands of the Caribbean. After living in Costa Rica for 8 years I now reside in Lagos, Portugal.
