Über das Buch
I am interested in how humans try to control space and nature. I further became intrigued by the visual and structural relationship between industrial chain-linked fences and nature, and the dynamic that the two produce when juxtaposed together. Simple as that.

Über den Autor
Steven Baigel
Berkeley, California
BFA in fine art photography from University of New Mexico 1977. Studied graduate level photo history with the esteemed photo historian Beaumont Newhall. Primarily photographed black & white urban landscapes. Gave up photography for many, many years. Worked in documentary films as cameraman and editor. Photography somewhat reinvigorated during my worldwide travels in the 1990s, but short-lived. May produce book of my photographs from Tibet and of Tibetan culture-in-exile in India and Nepal. These Small Things In Landscape photographs are a recent, fun interest of mine. As long as it remains fun, and that is key, I will continue to photograph the small things in landscapes I encounter.
