Enrique Collar
Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Enrique Collar, was born in Paraguay in 1964. Began exhibiting in 1990. He later moved to Holland, where he currently lives in Rotterdam. A painter, photographer, writer and filmmaker, he took part in the exhibition “Dutch Art Now” New York, in the shorlist of the BP Portrait Award 2006, National Portrait Gallery, London, and has won several painting prizes. He is the author of films and scripts such as “Novena”. In 2010 he win the first prize in the International Figurative Award for Painting and Sculpture of the Fundació de les Arts i els Artistes, Spain.
