Über das Buch
During my travels across Papua New Guinea, I had the opportunity to document the lives of its people. From the innocence and curiosity of children to the strength and determination of adults, these photographs aim to provide a window into their world. The images are a testament to the beauty and challenges of life in Papua New Guinea, offering a glimpse into the moments that define the human experience.
Through this book, I hope to bring awareness to the diverse cultures and lives of the people I encountered. It is a celebration of their spirit and a reminder of the common threads that bind us all, regardless of where we come from. Thank you for joining me on this photographic exploration of Papua New Guinea.

Über den Autor
I am Mamuka Kikalishvili, a Georgian fashion photographer born on November 15, 1971, in Tbilisi. Raised by schoolteacher parents, I developed a passion for photography at 11 when I bought a Smena film camera. I pursued electrical engineering, earning a PhD, and later established a successful business career. At 35, I rekindled my love for photography, founding Kikala Studio in Tbilisi in 2006, which became the leading studio in the Caucasus. My work has been featured in L'Officiel (Az), Harper's Bazaar (Ru), Boutique (Az), and Nargis (Az), and I have photographed celebrities like Milla Jovovich and Nina Ananiashvili. Balancing my business and photography, I travelled extensively, capturing diverse cultures and the human spirit. Despite a busy professional life, my passion for photography remains a core part of who I am, inspiring others through my lens.
