There are some common, yet beautifully unique birds in my hometown of Toowoomba, Australia. This is a tribute to them and my memories growing up with them. I fumble around with attempted Haiku-styled descriptions of each bird's personality, but I hope for residents and new comers to this pretty little city, to notice these brilliant little treasures. You will also get some homework to do, if you wish to track down other names that each species may be known by. If you want a book to brighten a waiting room, or on the coffee table, this will bring happiness and friendship.
