Über das Buch
Of anything that’s gone before –
I love you that much, love, and more.”
- from the poem “Beyond Compare”
In Across the Years, Madeleine Mills gathers some of her poems about the joy, hope, and strength found in “a marriage of true minds” from her book Wedding Hymne and Poems.
From the heavenly daze of finding true love, through the hope springing daily in the heart from living in faithful companionship, to the strengthened commitment forged
going through adversity together.
This is the enduring love story between husband and wife throughout the ages and across the lands. In sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, true love lights up our hearts and lives, and blesses us beyond any earthly measure.
(This book is an extract of previously published poems from Wedding Hymne and Poems.)

Über den Autor
Madeleine Mills grew up in the redwood-forested mountains of northern California with a love of music, singing, dancing, poetry, novels, Christmas, and weddings. She started writing poetry as a child, but her publishing career began with a few articles in local and national newspapers. Many years later, she turned her hand to a new labor of love: designing her Wedding Hymne Series of beautifully illustrated Gift Books. Using nature photos, she illustrated the beautiful Bible texts defining love that are part of wedding services around the world (Love Never Fails and Perfect Love), and her wedding song lyrics she had written for the Vangelis tune “Hymne”. Besides writing song lyrics on the rare occasion, Madeleine has had poems published in both national and international magazines and journals, including Ideals and This England. She now lives on the beautiful Central Coast of California, amid gentle hills and scattered redwoods. Visit her website for more details about her books
