Über das Buch
Since I began street photography in 2021, I’ve been working toward certain incremental goals. First: learn to use a camera. Then: begin to take successful photos, explore my individual perspective and voice, and eventually assemble cohesive bodies of work.
As a starting point to creating these cohesive bodies of work, I began making zines – time-bound by photos taken within a single year. This is the second edition, and contains photos taken in 2024. Presented in roughly chronological order, these photos were taken in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Pisa, Rome, and Istanbul. All of the photos in this collection are candid.
My goal is to create photographs that embody a specific time and place—images that reflect and reveal the culture of the present. Each photograph serves as a fragment of the now, but as time passes, these fragments may acquire new meanings. While their connection to the present will inevitably fade, their significance may grow. Whether these photos hint at a future to come or if they become a reflection of the past remains to be seen.
Thank you for joining me, and welcome to the future.

Über den Autor
I am a street photographer based in San Francisco, California. I began photographing in 2021 and immediately fell in love with street photography. I am inspired by complex scenes and aim to create visually pleasing and compositionally precise photos with a strong sense of place and time. I love the idea of capturing a candid moment and turning it into both art and cultural documentation. I am particularly interested in documenting everyday culture in San Francisco, in a way that demonstrates the city’s uniqueness. My work has been shown locally in galleries in San Francisco, and internationally in Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Singapore, and Australia, among others. I am a co-founder and member of the street photography collective, Candid City.
