This book is dedicated to my Grandmother Liz Alley. Grandma started a thimble collection 40 years ago. She passed away on Memorial Day, 2010. A decision was made by the family that we would not split the collection between each of her children and grand children. I committed to making a book that would document and display her collection so that we could all enjoy it in its entirety. All comments and descriptions in the book are from her log book that she tediously kept of each thimble that she ever acquired. Please enjoy my portrait of Grandma Alley through her beloved collection.
