Über das Buch
I have always trusted fate... I was surely meant to walk by my compost pile on a particular day, with the sun hitting it in a particular way.
What I saw that day was full of beautiful colors, textures, volumes; a rich palette of organic matter.
From that pile of dead refuse came such vibrant life that I became totally mesmerized. When I emerged from my reverie, I grabbed my camera. Since then, I have developed an enthralling relationship with my compost pile! I am seduced by its colors, its constant changes, and as I watch this dazzling work of transformation, I sense some sort of unspoken wisdom and feel a tremendous serenity. All that lives must alter, and "death not ends it"...

Über den Autor
Many lives, many places, many passions. I did a lot of crafts as a child. Eventually I came to work with my hands again, the only legacy of a previous life as a scholar specializing in the Preraphaelites and of course the Arts and Crafts movement. I am very drawn to all that is hand made. My only mechanical indulgences are my camera and my sewing machine. You can find my other work on: http://www.zazzle.com/isouz59* http://www.isadoree.etsy.com And finally, my Wearable Art Gallery is open: www.isadoree.com My photographs are but a few images that happened by design, chance or mistake. I let them mean however little or much they want to mean. In my heart, I am 13 years old still and always.
