Über das Buch
On Tuesday, November 6, 2007 I arrived at Cochin International Airport and stepped foot on Indian soil for the first time. On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, I departed from Cochin Airport.
In the intervening week I had the great pleasure of exploring the Alappuzha, Idukki and Ernakulam districts of south-west India's Kerala state, travelling from the Arabian Sea to the Western Ghats and back again.
Although images cannot adequately convey the beauty of this land and its people, nor more words recreate the experience, I humbly submit this essay as a record of one unforgettable week in "God's Own Country".
Namaste,
Paul

I've had the good fortune of being able to travel the world extensively as part of my occupation. Of course I always bring along a camera and try to take some time to explore. The world is really a very small place. Although outward differences are obvious, people are, inherently, the same. Travelling has given me a very great appreciation for this global village in which we live, and now I'd like to share some of my pictures and thoughts in the books that I create. I hope that you enjoy them.
