This art book is comprised of self-portrait photographs and oil paintings of a series titled Hidden/Forbidden, once titled Invisible faces. The work has an involved history due facial scars from a stabbing attack. The paintings and photographs, however, were done prior to the incident. Hence, they have an eery foreboding element.
