Über das Buch
A rollicking romp through the life of a Hudson's Bay Company fur trader in the 1820's
In the style of a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, this libretto uses some of the best known tunes of Sir Arthur Sullivan to set off all-original lyrics of a Canadian love story set at Fort Albany.
Jacob Corrigall The Trader of the Bay, is the direct ancestor of the author. He really did marry the Ojibwe "princess", but not exactly as described in this libretto.
Anyone interested in producing this all-Canadian operetta need only contact the author, in Ottawa.
