KEM PLASTIC PLAYING CARDS INC. consists of a series of photos taken of an abandoned building located on the Marist College campus in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The building shares the same name with this book's given title and is considered an eyesore to many students, faculty, and passerbys. It is a structure that serves no purpose to the college's campus. However, I have always found its distressed appearance to be appealing and thought that it could provide me with many interesting photographic compositions.
