The Broken Home and Junkyard series are collections of photographs by Chad Petska taken between 2005 and 2011.



All of these photographs deal with decay and change. Whether through the Broken Homes series or Junkyards, my photographs hope to communicate the beautiful and lonesome transformation of something that was once seen as a vital part of someone's daily life into something stripped of its original purpose.
