Über das Ebook
A photographic memory of Stanley Chase’s ill-fated production of Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer’s blues opera, "Free and Easy" featuring Irene Williams, Harold Nicholas, and the Quincy Jones Orchestra: New York, Brussels, and Amsterdam – 1959
“It has been a deliciously bitter-sweet experience to have these images reappear, to bring us back to a moment of promise and youthful enthusiasm—to how our stories were before we knew how they were to end—unbelievably well for some, and tragically soon for others."
— from the Preface by Quincy Jones
