Über das Buch
We tend to take for granted things we see every day, like chairs (and tables). I like to focus on commonplace subjects. I'll study their textures, shapes, lines, colors, quirks and environments and try to capture their inherent personalities. Yes, I believe that even inanimate objects can project personalities... I've tried to portray that in this portfolio - no matter how strictly or loosely I've interpreted the theme of chairs.
I used a mix of digital cameras for this project, including a Canon DSLR and point-and-shoot and an Android smart phone (five megapixels). So you will see varying resolutions and picture quality throughout the portfolio.
