Having been a big fan of motorsports since a young age, I have admired many drivers’ talents behind the wheel of various racing cars, often wondering just how hard they have worked to become a winner at the top of their game.



Karting is often the very first experience of Motor Racing that any driver will encounter. This is the grass roots of Motorsport, a place where participants are bitten by the racing bug, develop and hone their skill, sacrifice a large amount of time; effort, dedication, and money; into pursuing dreams of becoming part of that racing elite.



I have focused my work on the efforts of Jordan Houghton, and his father Brian.

Working together they compete as father and son racing in Junior Rotax at the Manchester and Buxton Kart Club at Three Sisters Race Circuit, Wigan.



This photo book looks at the passion for racing, the time, effort, and money that is also invested. Despite being the grass roots of Motorsport, the competition and dedication needed is no less significant.
