This volume brings together a modest collection of photographs taken in France, the UK and Italy between the years 2005 and 2010. It presents a sequence of chapters in a shared life: joint memories, told as stories, rendered by the photographic medium. Though to some extent personal, the photographs themselves are also intended to be accessible to, and enjoyed by, a wider circle. However, they have been assembled principally as a celebration of a woman: it is a gift to her.
