Über das Buch
Fair's first publication Sunday Mornings was greatly influenced by her time spent with family and friends visiting various swap meets and farmers markets around Los Angeles. As a society, we constantly throw away so much while simultaneously acquiring new goods, rarely pausing to think about the things we are leaving behind. These photographs illustrate the contrast between the two, the fresh new produce from the farmers markets and the tattered old items left behind at flea markets. For most, Sunday mornings are times of renewal, a fresh start to a new week. But for others, it is a time of reflection. Each photograph in this book was taken on a Sunday morning.
