Blades Across Boarders was a joint seminar held in 2011 between Der Alberen and the British Fuma Ryu Ninjutsu Society.



It aimed to introduce martial artists from all backgrounds to the weapons training from western and eastern martial arts.



Der Alberen is a western martial art group that specialises in teaching techniques of the German Long Sword. This book details the information and techniques taught as part of the Blades Across Borders weekend.



The British Fuma Ryu Ninjutsu Society taught aspects of Japanese weaponry as part of their contribution to training giving classes on the Japanese sword (Katana) Halberd (Naginata), knife fighting (Tanto) and throwing blades (Shuriken). This book details basic information on these four weapon disciplines.
