Replete with wit, humor, adventure (sometimes scary), Witmore gives insight into the process of painting on location and provides ink/watercolor sketches that are charming, fresh, and colorful. The book culminates in finished oil paintings based on sketches.

I have been represented by numerous fine arts galleries and am currently represented by "Gingerbread Square Gallery" (Key West, FLA), and "Tirage Art Gallery " (Pasadena, CA). As a professional fine artist since 1990, I have had one woman shows featuring watercolors in the early years and currently focusing on oil painting. I continue to travel, paint and produce personal journals and sketches of my travels. My book with blurb contains the best collection of stories from my travels to France.
