Über das Buch
Artist Dorit Jordan Dotan, born in 1961, lives in Haifa, Israel. She is a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator and peace activist.
In her various fields of work, she documents with her camera the multiculturalism and political conflicts in Israeli society. In addition, she works with abstract and panoramic photography.
A substantial part of Dorit's documentary photography was created during her participation in social-political activities such as photos taken at an Israeli-Palestinian olive harvest, documentation of the anti-draft refusniks, anti-Occupation demonstrations and more.
In her first photography book, Dorit has chosen some of her favorite photographs from 2004-2008.

Über den Autor
Dorit Jordan Dotan, Israeli German multidisciplinary artist lives in Chicago. Her work often expresses her social/political views, and calls attention to cultural issues. She is a long-time participant in movements for social change, and is active in the areas of peace, co-existence, women’s issues, human and animal rights. Her work as a documentary photographer and graphic designer has brought her images to the attention of the wider international and local community and media. Dotan has exhibited in Israel, USA and Europe. In recent years she exhibited at The HUC Museum NYC, in a continuing process of creating contemporary Jewish art. In 2017 she curated an Israeli-Palestinian exhibition “Far From The Front Lines” at The Evanston Art Center. “Refreshing Feminism” exhibition curated by Dotan is on view at woman Made Gallery till March 16, 2019 www.doritjordan.com
