I am often captivated by the lights and colors shining on objects and people at night. Shooting in HDR (high dynamic resolution) allows for intense blacks and white whites, all along keeping the midrange information. This gives me intense colors and dark shadows. When shooting at night, the street lights and neon lit signs, colored floods, create an unpredictable collage of colors. It adds a new dimension to objects and street scenarios often witnessed everyday. This is the first book highlighting everyday life in an urban community.
