Gina Verster derives her poetics and photoimagery from some of the unruly and more visually vigorous spaces of Vancouver, where the savage states of neglected streets, ambiguous structures and exuberant eviscerations often exude unexpected complacencies in this frivolous city concurring west-est of the northwest.
