Über das Buch
I was fortunate to join 16 intrepid travelers from May 12-23 on a Road Scholar photography tour of the Oregon Coast.
The route started and ended in Astoria, OR, and included some of the most scenic locations along the coast. Since most of our accommodations were located in ideal spots for end-of-the-day sunset and start-the-next-day sunrise photos, you'll notice that there are a few dawn and dusk shots. The scenery overall was spectacular, the weather pretty cooperative, and the company excellent.
I arrived a day early to visit friends who drove me along the scenic Columbia River highway.

Bruce Rosenstiel
Grapevine, TX, USA
Bruce Rosenstiel was drawn to photography by his fascination with wildlife and world cultures. He enjoys photographing all manner of flora and fauna to reveal the extraordinary, and often unseen, diversity and beauty of nature. Likewise, Bruce’s cultural portraits seek to make the foreign accessible by diffusing barriers of difference, creating a visual language of images that focuses on themes of universal human experience: work, play, worship, sorrow, joy. Bruce’s Small World is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship and cross-cultural understanding, by highlighting the bonds and behaviors between species and across communities, communicating through images when there is no shared spoken language.
