I'm a self taught naturalist, splitting my time between Tucson and Portal Arizona. I've really gotten to know my natural neighbors in the last 12 years. Eyes wide open, I see something new in the natural world every day. I served as a Docent at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum for 8 years and a Raptor Handler in the Raptor Free Flight Program for 4 years. The Desert Museum is among the world's finest Natural History Musuems, Botanical Gardens and Zoos, all in one! A must see if you're ever in southeast Arizona. With my husband Bud, we try to hike, walk, play music or just sit and watch nature every day. The primary goal being to see something new or different every day and with very little effort, it's easy to do.
