incorporate them into the urban fabric to adapt and re-utilize

poorly used urban spaces. Cohesion is the integration

of contextual and pragmatic relevancy within the urban

fabric. Cohesion can address these multi-layered problems

through its components and the method of adaptive reuse

and its adherence to contextual, environmental, and social

problems. Architecture as an agent of cohesion has the

capacity to regenerate new life into poorly utilized urban

spaces, allowing for perpetual alterations and pliability.
