Author’s passion in photography had taken him on many journey around the world. He has been fortunate enough to join a Four Wheel-Drive exploration trip to the road less travelled in Yunnan, China.

Most of the original Tea Horse Road is gone with China’s recent rapid modernisation. This journey is thus to explore what is left of this once famous but forgotten route before it all disappears.

This book captures the essence of the people, culture and the grand vistas along the remnants of the Ancient Tea Horse Road in Yunnan as seen through the eyes of the authors.
