Über das Buch
I'M INTRIGUED...TELL ME ABOUT IT:
"DICHOTOMY - A Visual Journey Through Nebraska and Northern Italy" examines the visual contrasts inherint in two regions of our planet: The Nebraska Sandhills & Northern Italy.
Pages showcase dichotomic images within or between the regions. Some pairs of images are displayed to highlight a clear divergence of viewpoint regarding subject, context, tonality, meaning, perspective, or social commentary. At other times, they are arranged to build a short story of the area or to focus the lens on differences one encounters when looking at the details of a place.
SO, GEORG, WHY SHOULD I BUY THIS:
This collection showcases the incredible beauty of Northern Italy and the lifestyle & details of a ranching existence in central Nebraska. Each of these regions has a compelling vibrancy, and equally compelling light and landscapes. I know of no other locations that I feel more at home within. It is my hope the joy and emotional attachment I feel for these great places is conveyed properly via these pages. It's good stuff!
WHAT DO I GET FOR MY CASH:
Over 90 images ranging from incredible scenics to intriguing details. Within Italy, images were captured in Florence, the Italian Riviera, the Piedmont Region, and Venice. The Nebraska photographs are mostly from Custer and Blaine Counties in the central part of the state and, specifically, the McGinn Ranch south of Dunning, Nebraska where I spent the better part of 3 glorious years.
HEY, IT'S AVAILABLE AS AN EBOOK!
