Über das Buch
After years of being at the top of my must-see list, I finally made it to Tibet in October of 2003. I immediately felt at home - falling in love with the people, places, and lifestyle. That first visit lasted 10-1/2 months!
In 2005 & 2006 I was employed as a tour leader with an Australian travel company, and once again found myself in Tibet - sharing with others what this magical place has to offer. I enjoyed taking them to out-of-the-way places, introducing them to local friends, and letting them experience first-hand what life is like in the 'Land of Snows'.
It's impossible to truly capture any country simply through photographs, but it's my hope that, after thumbing through these pages, you'll have a better appreciation for Tibet - her land, people, and customs.
I also hope that this book inspires you to see Tibet for yourself.
