Über das Buch
This is the fifth annual book resulting from a collaboration between the Reading the Media and Graphic Arts classes at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon.
Reading the Media student were asked to chose a single sentence from each chapter of George Orwell's 1984 that best highlighted the meaning of that chapter. They then wrote a small paragraph describing the context and significance of that sentence. Graphic Arts students then used digital media to illustrate each of these snapshots of the book.
The result is an extremely abridged, more visual representation of Orwell's classic work. We hope you enjoy the experience.
