This was Our Life in Pinecraft Sarasota Florida from February - April 2012. It is all about meeting old friends and making new ones, while spending the cold winter months in Sarasota Florida. Pinecraft in Sarasota is the section where most of the Plain People stay. We eat Big Olaf ice cream and Emma's Pizza, plus Yoder's Amish Village is in Pinecraft.

I love taking pictures of people as they are, in their setting. Most of my pictures are taken of the Amish when they winter or vacation in Sarasota Florida. There is a little section of Sarasota called Pinecraft which is loaded with Amish/Mennonites during the winter months. In the summer it turns into a Ghost Town with 85% of the houses empty. My roots are Amish, born and raised in Holmes County Ohio.
