Illustrated birds are integrated into the hexagonal design structure of semi-abstract “snowflakes”. The birds used as the design elements are derived from the classic Audubon illustrations. As in an earlier project, the bird images are intensified in hue and saturation, resulting in colorful snowflakes. Several birds are integrated into each different snowflake.
