My Blog, Clydeside Images.com, which I started in 2010, is loosely based on the River Clyde. Although the emphasis is on the river`s nautical activity, a diverse range of subjects are covered, both within the UK and abroad. This book, the first volume of what I intend to be an annual publication, contains samples of my blog posts from the past twelve months, including well over 500 photographs. Hopefully these excerpts from 2013 will be of interest to anyone who, like myself, has not just a love of Scotland, its history, wildlife and landscape but also an interest in the ships that sail its waters. In addition, I was fortunate to visit the Isle of Skye, British Columbia and Namibia last year, all of which feature in this review.
