It is the story about a man who came from humble beginnings, but through perseverance and the help of Almighty God, found a way to become everything God intended for him to be. He made it through the Great Depression, World War II, the ups and downs of college life, and on to a successful career in the pharmacy business. His story is an inspiration. Über den Autor
Brandon Burden is the grandson of R.H. Hilliard and the son of R.H.’s daughter, Kathy Lynn. Brandon has always been close to his grandfather. He spent most of his childhood years growing up around him in the town of Kerens, Texas. He remembers many an hour spent playing in his grandfather’s drugstore, fishing with his grandfather out on the lake, and working with his grandfather on the family farm. He says that these were the experiences that shaped his life and left a lasting impression of what childhood should be. Brandon believes it was his grandfather’s influence upon his life during these years that helped him become the man he is today. This book is Brandon’s tribute to him. Forever grateful, it is his way of showing his love and appreciation to the man who has meant so much to him.
