Über das Buch
In the Fall of 2013, we decided to take our ninth trip with Senior Tours. We had been in Spain earlier in the year, and this time we chose the Mediterranean Magic Tour (October 9th to 22nd) which goes to the French Riviera, the Italian Riviera, and Tuscany.
This tour combines 3 of Europe's favourite holiday destinations. It is with good reason that the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur), Italian Riviera and Tuscany are so popular: mild weather; historic sites and romantic scenic beauty. Attractions include villages made from ancient golden stone, grand castles, chateaux and hillside vineyards and farms. The aroma of orange and lemon trees, and herbs and lavender fill the air. The museums, art galleries, winding cobble-stone streets and colourful local markets add their appeal. This book is about our experiences in France, and the second book covers the rest of our tour to Monaco and Italy.
