This book includes photos taken by Maureen L. Allen in 2007, during a two-week photography class at a vineyard in Tuscany. Maureen lives in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband Doug. Her two boys attend the University of Iowa. She works at one of Iowa's largest hospitals as a registered nurse and employee health expert, and leads her own ergonomics consulting business. She is an accomplished artist, and began her artistic career in drawing and painting. She explored her love for photography during two trips to Italy with her sister, Laura.
